While on the go in your SUV, you’ll want the ability to integrate your device with your vehicle so you have constant connection on the go. In both the Compass and Rogue, you’ll be afforded this ability thanks to standard Bluetooth®, Android Auto™, and Apple CarPlay® functionalities found in each.

Using these features, you can connect your mobile device to send texts, make calls, and listen to your favorite music. You’ll need topflight sound quality, too, though. The Rogue provides a decent 4-speaker audio system; however, the Compass provides a 6-speaker sound system that will arm you with better sound quality.

Controlling Your SUV’s Climate

As you adventure more and more in either your Rogue or Compass, you’ll encounter different temperatures and environments. Whether it’s a muggy mid-summer’s day at the lake or a frigid morning filled with snow and ice, you’ll need to adjust your interior cabin temperature. Fortunately, you can do this easily in both the Nissan and Jeep.

The Rogue comes with a single-zone air conditioning system. Meanwhile, the Compass comes with a dual-zone automatic temperature control system. Using this, you and your front passenger can set your own personalized interior temperatures, providing you with great comfort. The Rogue offers a similar system as an available upgrade.

Compass & Rogue: Added Assistance

Whether you’re headed on a road trip or just down the street, you’ll want to know that your SUV comes with the driver-assistive technologies needed to help you out on the roadways. In both the Compass and Rogue, you’ll find standard cruise control systems that let you rest your leg on those long highway drives.

Similarly, both SUVs come with Hill Start Assist systems. In either vehicle, this system will prove helpful on uneven gradients. It does so by locking your vehicle in place as you move your foot from the brake pedal to the gas pedal. With it, you can easily transition from completely stopped to back on the move without worrying about rollback.

You’ll also find a standard Trailer Sway Damping feature in the Jeep Compass. If you’re towing a trailer, this will work to ensure your trailer is stabilized by applying brake force. Unfortunately, the Rogue doesn’t offer a similar system.
